Our operations team works from our HQ Ops room located in the international zone. and consists of
ex-British Military personnel with over 17 years of Hostile Security Experience across Iraq. We
specialize in using advanced technologies and software for real-time monitoring and decisionmaking. Our daily duties involve logging the movements of clients and their protective security detail
using vehicle tracking systems and monitoring radio communications.We pride ourselves in
maintaining confidentiality and discretion with sensitive information encountered during our daily
operations. An overview of some of the main responsibilities include :
➢ Supervision of the Operations Room and ensure smooth functioning of operations.
➢ Monitor real-time activities, including client movements and protective security details.
➢ Respond to tracker alarms, distress calls, and emergencies promptly and efficiently.
➢ Maintain communication with the Operations Manager during incidents and follow SOPs.
➢ Oversee Health & Safety, medical, and fire incident management within the Al Baron
compound, including liaising with local departments when necessary. –
All local staff are specifically selected and vetted with oversight from both Iraq and British management. We pride ourselves on a low rate of staff turnover highlighting the job satisfaction, work ethic, and loyalty of our employees. The Al Baron workforce has previous experience subcontracting for a globally recognized security firm and as such staff has extensive experience working with foreign diplomatic, commercial, and private clients. We understand the need for conducting detailed due diligence and as such we require proof of Non-Objection from Iraqi police to support the application process of local staff, all staff are fully registered and compliant with the Iraqi Ministry of Interior (MoI) which involves a full background check.
Any discrepancies are raised with Al Baron management before the next steps of the candidate’s application. Aside from official investigatory procedures with the appropriate agencies within the Government of Iraq (GoI), Al Baron ensures that suitable referees are contacted to confirm the personal standing of every staff member. This allows consideration regarding their fit within the wider team and sets the conditions for positive professional relationships. Upon completion of this process, our staff will be on hand and can be mobilized at short notice. Each team is equipped with the following in the vehicle and on their person which exceeds minimum standards:

➢ Complete breakdown and rapid recovery kit The armored vehicles are built to B6 specification and are in accordance with European Ballistic Standard BS EN – 1522; Protection Level FB6 and Ballistic Standard BS EN – 1064; Protection Level BR6. This includes clear armored glass which can sustain upon impact from the following types of ammunition considered as a maximum within the prior specifications:
➢ 7.62 x 51mm NATO ball, in compliance with ballistic standard BS EN – 1063, protection Level BR6
➢ AK 47 7.62 X 39 API (armor piercing) As expected, our staff are highly trained and undergo regular refresher training. This benefits the services provided to the clients but also maintains the standards required to uphold international certification and sustain MoI registration. Staff training covers a variety of areas, as a basis this starts with static guard and security awareness training. From there, Al Baron staff undergo extensive training which includes but is not limited to:
